Step 2: Upload your photos
Upload one or more photos of the property. For the best results:
- Use high-resolution images
- Make sure the room is well-lit
- Capture the entire room where possible
- Keep vertical lines reasonably straight

A few settings shape the result.
Room type. Select the category that best matches the image — Living Room, Bedroom, Dining Room, Kitchen, Home Office, Bathroom, Balcony, Laundry Room, Foyer / Entryway, or Outdoor / Patio / Deck. This helps SecondLight generate furniture that's appropriate for the space.
Room size (optional). If you know the room's dimensions, enter the width and length — in feet or metres. Providing the size helps the model scale furniture correctly, so a sofa that suits a compact apartment doesn't end up dwarfed in a large open-plan living room.
Style. Pick an interior design style that matches your target audience. Options include Modern, Scandinavian, Traditional, Mid-Century Modern, Farmhouse, Transitional, Industrial, Luxury, and Bohemian.
Furniture density. Choose how furnished the room should appear:
- Minimal — sparse furniture and décor. Best for smaller rooms, apartments, and modern listings.
- Balanced — measured furnishing and styling. Best for most residential properties and general-purpose marketing.
