Will buyers be able to tell it's virtually staged?

Our AI generates photorealistic results that preserve the original room's architecture, lighting, and perspective. The furniture is proportioned and placed as a professional stager would, with no floating objects or impossible shadows. Most viewers cannot distinguish the result from a professionally photographed staged room.

Can I use virtually staged photos in my MLS listing?

Yes. Most MLS systems allow virtually staged photos as long as they're clearly labeled. We recommend including a note such as 'Virtually staged' in your listing description, which is standard practice in the industry.

How do subscription photo credits work?

One photo credit = one new room staged. Restyling, revising, or switching modes on a staged photo is free — only the first staging of a new room uses a credit. Your plan refreshes its photo count each billing cycle, and unused photos roll over for one extra cycle (see below).

Only the first staging of a new room uses a photo credit. Revisions — restyle, adjust placement, change density — are free. Starter includes 10 revisions per photo, and Pro includes unlimited revisions.

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can cancel any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep paid-tier features and any subscription photos until then. After that, remaining subscription photos (including rolled-over ones) are removed.

Do unused photos roll over?

Accepted Answer

Subscription photos roll over for one extra cycle. If they're still unused at the next renewal, they expire — the new cycle's photos replace them. We show a heads-up banner a few days before any rollover expires so you can use them in time.

Question 10

Can I switch plans anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tier changes (e.g. Starter to Pro, or Pro to Starter) and switches from monthly to annual billing apply immediately. Your new plan's subscription photos are granted right away, any unused photos from the previous cycle roll over for one additional cycle, and you're charged or credited the prorated difference. The exception is switching from annual to monthly billing: that's scheduled for the end of your current annual term so you keep the rate you prepaid for, and you can cancel the scheduled switch any time before then from your billing settings.

Do you offer refunds?

We offer refunds on a case-by-case basis. If a refund is issued, the associated photos will be removed from your account. Please reach out at support@secondlight.ai if you have any concerns.

How does the 7-day trial work?

Accepted Answer

Pick Starter or Pro at signup and enter a card. You won't be charged for 7 days, and you can cancel anytime during the trial without being charged. Images you stage during the trial include a small watermark that's removed automatically the moment your subscription starts. On day 7 we start your subscription on the plan you chose.

Are images watermarked during the trial?

Yes. Photos you stage during the free trial include a small SecondLight watermark, so trial results aren't used on a live listing before you subscribe. It's removed from every image the moment your plan starts, including ones you created earlier in the trial. Want it gone sooner? Start your plan early from your billing settings and the watermark disappears instantly. You're charged for your first billing cycle at that point instead of on day 8. Your original uploaded photos are never watermarked.

What happens if I cancel during the trial?

Cancel any time before day 7 and you're not charged. If you'd like to try again later, contact us and we may be able to extend or re-issue your trial.

What image formats and sizes are supported?

Upload JPEG or PNG images up to 10 MB. For best results, use a well-lit, high-resolution photo of the room.

How long does it take to generate a staged image?

Most images are ready in 15–30 seconds. Complex rooms or high-density furniture settings may take slightly longer.
